What is DSL?
Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technology is an advanced broadband access method that uses ordinary, copper telephone lines to carry high-bandwidth, two-way data, voice and video communications.

This translates to significantly faster, always-on connections with no dial-up, busy signals or dropped connections.

Step By Step
How Do I Get DSL?
Step 1

Check DSL Availability for Your Home
Verify that DSL is available in your area. DSL availability is based on numerous factors including the distance between your home and the Central Office, and the condition of the phone line, both inside and outside your home. DSL package options available for you phone line will be shown at this time from the different providers that service your location.

Step 2

Order Your DSL Connection Online
During the online ordering process you will be asked to select a DSL package and any add-on services you want. After you sign-up, you will receive an estimated activation date for your DSL service. For most customers, this process takes anywhere from 2 - 5 weeks...depending on the provider.
Step 4

Installation will come in one of 2 forms depending on the provider that you choose.  Some providers will need to conduct an onsite installation and some are so easy that you simply load software and plug in an external modem.  They are both painless and completed in a matter of minutes.  A DSL Advisor will always be available to assist you along the way with any issues that may come up.

Step 5

Enjoy your new connection as you begin surfing the Internet at blazing speeds and with a reliable "always-on" connection.
